Could you please give more background on Voluspa?

I do not know anything about it. "The Secret Doctrine" gives
just one reference to Voluspa (v.1, p.367) as regards the mundane
egg. Encyclopaedia Britannica says:

> ("Sibyls' Prophecy"), a sweeping cosmological myth that reviews

Sounds interesting, and should provide interesting material for
comparative studies in the light of theosophy.
