Paul,

I know Nicholas and while he may have been curt, perhaps jolly
and offhanded, he did not intend to harm you or may attestment to
his superiority. Most people prefer to read ideals in their
literature rather than conclusive details of matters we are at a
loss to verify. When we read what they have written for us to
try in terms of correct thinking, we are blessed by their
writings and when we read someone who blesses us, we feel as if
we know them or would like to be personally acquainted with them.
(I am referring to the early theosophical authors.) Our lives
have been changed for the better and it is hard task to undermine
what they are trying to do with stories of their "shenanigans."
