Reincarnation

I'd like to continue the discussion of Johnsons books a little
more.

The evidence in the history of the founding of the T.S. is one
approach to verifying the existence of the masters, however it is
not the only one. I think that most people tend to verify their
existence by studying and discussing reincarnation.

You probably remember that John Ageo has a book called
Reincarnation Explored. Well, isn't the existence of the Adepts
a logical outcome of the truth of reincarnation? If we accept the
doctrine of reincarnation and karma, then how can anyone deny
that there is a "next" kingdom for man? And that this kingdom is
already filled with lives? So the only possible denial associated
with the "history" version of proof is that the masters are in
touch with humanity. Isn't this, too, negated by Jesus,
Mohammed, Buddha, etc.? If this is true, then in fact there is no
argument save that HPB knew personally and transmitted for one or
more "previously unknown" adept figures. Morya and Kuthumi may
or may not be on par with the other historical examples of
adepts. In any case, I don't think any of us can find them true
in the sense that their "actual" living brought great grace to
mankind, because they did not have an outward, lifelong display
of truth like the other examples did.

Why is there such a wave today of ascended master teachings? They
all seem to be along the same lines as HPB's version -
channeling, communicating - yes, but actual life contact - no.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? I can go to the store
today and read channeling of Archangel Michael, Paul - disciple
of Jesus (Nick Bunick's new book), Serapis Bey, Hilarion, and
many, many, more names and characteristics than existed in HPB's
day. Remember the unwritten third volume, well, somebody should
write it based on the books on the market today.
