Thanks to Bee Brown for allowing me to use the website at the TS
Headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand. I am here until November
10th,when I return to Sydney and then the farm at Bega. In New Zealand
I am giving a three day seminar on World Religions, plus several
lectures. Am also working on the Archives and am appreciating the work
that Robert Ellwood put into his ISLANDS OF THE DAWN.

My major news is that the first volume of THE COLLECTED LETTERS OF H.
P.. BLAVATSKY is almost completed. Wheaton will be sending me back
shortly the second proof of the text of the letters and their
annotations. Before coming to New Zealand I sent them the Introductory
portions, so all that remains is the listing of the abbreviations,
illustrations, indexing plus the Bibliography. The c.350 letters
range from 1862 to 1882, with about 100 letters that are new to the
theosophical world. Where possible the letters have been transcribed from
copies of the originals and the original spelling and syntax has
been retained. Thanks must be rendered to John Algeo for his patience
and enthusiasm for this project.

I have also been working on a Dissertation for the University of
Sydney and this is also almost completed. I saw my Supervisor earlier
this month and he has given it his final approval. I now need a few
days of fine tuning and it is complete.

Life on the farm is rewarding-birds, horses, dogs, vegetables, trees
and now our fifth dam which is leaking, plus 30 new nut trees to
water. My warmest regards to you all and i hope some of you might
reply via this new miracle, which i will eventually get for the farm.

Thank you Dara and Nicholas for your Email. I am sorry i have not
written to yopu. I am simply rushing from job to job and have given
the HPB letters top priority. I look forward to reading Michael's
abridgment of ISIS. I have not heard from him for a long time.

And thank you Paul for your comment on my review of your INITIATES. I
look forward to reading it. Would SUNY send me a copy so that I might
review it? Greg Tillett is not dead. He recently visited Egypt,
Lebanon and Turkey with the English Patriarch of the Coptic Church.

And thank you Dal and Val for your message. I still support the idea
of a new publication.

Replies can come to hq@theosophy.org.nz
