OK, now I see.
She was supposedly being curtailed from presenting her "occult
knowledge" to the world by some other occultists who so considered her a
danger that they performed this ceremony against her.

Who were they and why were they so scared or pissed off?

K.Paul Johnson, in any of your digging around, have you ever come across
this?
Can you perhaps give it some historical context? Anybody else?
