Dear Keith/M2Milly

The questions asked by M2Milly are basic.

Could some good Theosophical text which covers those ideas be
offered ? Say THE KEY TO THEOSOPHY by HPB, or THE OCEAN OF THEOSOPHY by W
Q Judge ? The answers are there.

Even the brief EPITOME OF THEOSOPHY, by W.Q JUDGE covers them well, and it
is only 35 pages long.

Fact: We are here. We live. We experience.

Question: What are the causes for this ?

What and who am I ?

If the Spirit is "perfect", then why am I "imperfect ?"

Suggestions:	We are aware of our imperfections. Hence, there is something
already in us which is aware of "perfection." Is "the Voice of Conscience"
and the "Intuition" possibly the link to wisdom that we seek ? How can we
investigate that way ?

We have to start with where we are and what we know . Next we have to be
able to compare our conclusions with those that others have made. We have
to be able to compare and discuss. In other words we recognize (as Science
does all the time) that we live in a Universe of LAW. Why should the plane
of the mind and of human life alone be devoid of law ? If it is not devoid
of law, then what laws govern communal living and make for fairness in
equity, in morality and in brotherhood.?

I would say that recognizing the rights and needs of others is the first
step on the way to becoming responsible as a true brother does to all
others who are his friends and companions.

Our greatest foe is the isolation we desire to live in, and in the sense of
property -- that we can hold, grasp, limit the use of various things to
ourselves only, and keep everyone else at a distance. Isolation is the
first problem. But you may say, our world is based on property and
individualism. I would say that is only 1/2 of the situation. We need to
begin to pay attention to the other half. How much cooperation is needed
to keep this body alive ? How does Nature provide that ? How much
cooperation from others do we need to continue to be alive ?

If in the past we have made errors, then the errors are attached to us and
to our make-up, and so we have biases views which make for further
confusion -- we, and the rest of the world develops a FALSE view of things.

We no longer live as though we were immortals, or as "brothers." We limit
our views to this one life. We change our creativity into destruction as
we proceed to deny others access to those things of which we have too much
and which they need. And so on....

These are not complete answers but only designed to show ways of
investigation... ultimately we all teach ourselves.
