Isn't this talking specifically about the first round only?

It is said that Nature used what vitality "2nd round man" through off to
create these animal forms, not that man willfully created them with any
genetic engineering. It's "Nature" who is the genius.

What I meant about the lore of man creating hybrid animal creations was
in this fourth round, third root race (lemurian, i.e., the "sin of the
mindless") and forth root race (Atlanteans), who repeated the "sin" and
also created monstrosities by sorcery and black magic, or so the story
goes.
