Let me first of all clarify that I have known hundreds of ES members who
are all very fine people in every way and I cherish my association with
them. All these are *not* involved in any leadership positions (and the
politics that goes on) and if you ask them why they are in it, their answer
is self improvement. Likewise there are many in the leadership positions
who are very fine people with whom it is a pleasure to be associated and
work with.
