I'll be speaking at the Krotona School, not the Krotona
Institute. The School is a public thing, although I'm not
entirely clear on its relationship with the Institute.

The crowd that comes to meetings there are a mix of
interested people from nearby towns, not associated
with Krotona nor the T.S., and those on the hill who
might find a program interesting.

It would be up to the E.S.T. to define for its members
the boundaries of their spiritual practice. Those
boundaries would include where to draw the line that
defines an open-minded interest in the religions and
philosophies of the world and the mixing of spiritual
practices, which is not allowed. Not being a member,
I don't think that the particular details regarding
how the organization crafts its spiritual practice
concerns me. It really doesn't matter to me how they
do things or if I'd do them differently, since my
practice is different and personal, and I'm inclined
to allow others the right to pick and choose and
follow whatever practices appeal to them. My only
interest in learning of the different spiritual
groups is for when I might be in the postition to
recommend to someone else what might be good for them
to try. That opportunity doesn't come very often, and
I'm inclined to base what I recommend on the intuition
of the moment, so the detailed knowledge of the
various groups is not too important to me. If I
were involved in politics, or into history, it would
be another matter.
