The source of the quote is now clear.  I was looking for it in the several
books of translation I have from Sri Sankaracharya.

One of those which I like the most is:

		Lo the wonder of the Banyan tree.
		The sage, a youth -
		And the disciples are elders.

		The teaching is silence,
		Yet the doubts of the disciples
		Are dispelled.
