Dear Thoa:O

As to HPB being "supposed to return"

-- well, if the Spirit is immortal and HPB is as close to an
Adept as we can think of short of the Masters, why would we
suppose that she ever left ?

Do you not think, in all seriousness, that the "spirit of the
Masters and of HPB" does not hover over all sincere F T S ?

If the Maha Chohan can write as he did concerning the importance
of the Theosophical Movement and the launching of the T S, then
we are the 'children," all of us, of Their effort to spread a
knowledge of karma, reincarnation, brotherhood, immortality and
perfectibility of all beings (ultimately). But as one said
recently we cannot put "Truth" in a bottle or try to confine it.
By definition TRUTH is universal and all benefit from it. So to
with Theosophy -- if we have really studied and know what it is
and says. It appeals to our innermost self and to the Heart.

Some will get the idea that they are not "born in sin." Some
will get the idea that they can transform themselves by
self-effort -- and they will adopt methods of responsibility and
generosity.

So why not say rather, that HPB never left, and that her
influence pervades all good theosophical effort ? And
"Theosophical Effort" is always directed at benefiting humanity
as a whole.

At least, that is how I would look at the matter. Dallas
