Dear Alan:

As far as I can gather, the evidence is in SECRET DOCTRINE, Vol.
2, but it takes a while to ferret it out.  Using the Index on
specific subjects helps.

If one rejects the Theosophical concept of evolution, then of
course there is no "evidence."  S D, Vol 1, p 181 outlines the
three lines of evolution that merge in mankind, and one could
take up the search from that point to see if the propositions
that HPB offers are reasonable.

In THE OCEAN OF THEOSOPHY, by W.Q.Judge, the matter is epitomized
in Chapters 3, 4, 14, 15.

That is about as much as I can briefly say without going into a
mass of details.              Dallas.
