As a practical matter, when any communication involves (a) a complex issue
or subject, (b) an unpleasant or sad matter or news, (c) a matter of great
importance, it has been found that the best means is personal face to face
meeting if this is practical.

In case after case, I have found it to be very effective and efficient.

Even going back to theosophical history, there are many instances in which
the Adepts who have the power of instant communication at distance have
resorted to "personal" contact whether in physical body or materialized
body. They should have known what is the best under a particular set of
circumstances.

Based on the above, anytime we can deal and discuss with others face to
face, it is definitely preferred. However, Internet e-mail has its place,
just like the present exchange with others interested in theosophy.
