Frank, I am sorry to have to disagree, but words are very important,
and Dallas throws them around without thinking first. It is not at all
clear to me whether Dallas used a poor choice of words or
whether Dallas does not know what he is talking about.

I am not familiar with the terms "spiritual soul" or "divine soul"
although I am familiar with "human soul." In any case,
Dallas is, I believe, wrong when he says our spiritual soul
(I assume this to be what HPB called the spiritual monad or
"ray" of the Divine Monad) is both learning and eternal.
Eternal is NOT time ticking on forever like Christians and
so many others think (Dallas included, apparently). Rather
it is time stopping or no-time at all. According to HPB, the
Divine Monad is outside of time (what she calls Motion) while
the "spiritual monad" (another poor choice of words, IMHO)
is within time.

HPB and the early theosophical writers used poor choices
in terminology that has led to much confusion. When I see
this kind of thing continuing today, I feel compelled to at
least point it out.
