Dear Augoeides:

Thanks and understood - there have been changes in terminology -
so much so that it is difficult to follow what is being offered.

I am reasonably familiar with the various psychic phenomena and
experiments as also the many reports received.

My main interest is to shorten the time it takes to communicate
by adopting some basic reference. Why not HPB's ? The rest can
be related back to that if we desire, but it takes time to
translate again and again, and remain sure that there is
understanding.

What I do not understand is the attempt to (seemingly, and as I
see it) smother clarity with confusion and call it "progress."
At least, please excuse me, but this comment is one I would
address not to you but to all of us who read or comment.

As I write I think of another post in the past few days which
relates to an understanding of the "Rounds" "Globes" and
"Races. Are they all named ? I do not find that HPB has
attempted to categorize them in that fashion.

But anyone who applies what we are taught about the 7
"principles" of nature and of Mankind could attempt to describe
the conditions which seem (in a broad way) to indicate the cyclic
"influences" under which we all are at some specific time.

To be more specific. The 7 "Globes" (I understand) correspond to
the 7 "principles," "7 States of consciousness," etc.

The first half of the evolutionary period is occupied with the
"descent of Spirit into Matter," and, on the material side the
providing of an increasingly sensitive vehicle for spiritual
consciousness to live and work through. And thus we have today's
average humanity.

The second half is the upswing which now faces us. In this the
4th "Round", are we not on the 4th "Globe" a little past the
middle point of evolution in the "5th Race" named by HPB "Aryan"
or "Noble" ?

The question of the moral or ethical equation arises. To me this
is a matter of Karma. How do we live a life which is of least
disturbance to others, ourselves and Nature around us, and yet,
is also constructive and of assistance to others in a friendly
cooperative manner ? I would judge that this might be called an
ethical life. Or, am I wrong ?

To me the difference between "evil" and "good" is very simply:
Do I fight against the laws of Nature, or do I cooperate with
them ?

This may sound simplistic, but we are free and independent
spirits and minds and as such I could not imagine myself
submitting without understanding to any kind of Law. I AM THEN
FORCED TO AGREE TO SEEK OUT THE MEANING OF Law and whether it is
fair, just, impartial and universal. Once satisfied I would seek
to use those qualities as a basis for choosing my actions, words
and future.

Does this make sense ?

Dallas
