Re: Close of the 5000 Year Cycle

Dear Leon:

Two of your posts I have read.

Karma - I am familiar with Judge's Aphorisms on Karma as well as
a large range of articles and statements on the subject - and I
appreciate your comments. I hope what I say below shows some of
this.

OCEAN on the changes around the period of cycle end for 1897/98.
If you want I can Email you a list of the great inventions,
changes that have taken place at or around that time, and since
then. They are suggestive of the effect that Theosophy has had
on the world and of Adept action taken "behind the scenes."

Let me know if you wish to see this.

As to karma - universal is universal - from the greatest to the
smallest - from the oldest to the newest, and on into the
future - there is constant change. We cannot verify all of this
great sweep, as we note only a couple of acts.

1. We exist, and we not we the changes. Only that which is
CHANGELESS sees changes. That is our base in the eternal
SPIRITUAL background. (SD I 570-3)
2. The UNIVERSE EXISTS. In all its vast variety and complexity.
3. Everything runs by Nature's ( UNIVERSAL) Law. We do not know
all the details, but we would not be here if this did not run
like a highly sensitive and very dynamic "clock-work whose
sensitiveness is infinitely small as well as infinitely large -
hence not "human" in limitation, but universal in time, motion
and force. [ SD I 14-19)
4.	Every being from sub-atomic to supra UNIVERSAL is alive and
sensitive in its own way - intelligence is universal but there
are many degrees of
consciousness and these relate to the advancement of each type
or kind of
	being.
5.	Mind, Thought, Consciousness is gradually individualized, made
responsible and then allowed to expand through trial and error to
encompass greater and greater areas of work and duty - such is
our future and fate (IF YOU PERMIT THAT PHRASE) a condition of
gradual universalization whereby each one perceives this in
operation, and the potential areas of work that are naturally
open to them to choose.
	(see GITA NOTES, pp. 98-100)

Your surmises about the changes that have occurred are, I think
in the right direction. If you have available the back issues of
THEOSOPHY magazine you will find in ON THE LOOKOUT section that
the changes and events of significance have been well chronicled
and commented on. This work has been going on for the past 87
years.

Hope this is of help.

The Curies discovered radioactivity. Einstein got his first
insight of
relativity and the equation E-mc^2. Bohr discovered quantum
physics. All,
revolutionized science and made possible the world of atomic
weapons, high
technology, and the extremist, oppressive and warlike political
systems we
have today.
