Dear Jerry:

You are so right, some paddle at the shores of learning and some
dare the depths.

But we all learned the basics of flotation somewhere, somewhen
and apparently this has to be relearned in each life. I recall
thinking I had learned in sea-water - and then plunged into a
freshwater pool, and almost drowned in my pride ! -- along time
ago in this life, but not an experience one forgets.

Problem I think with the philosophy of Theosophy is that many do
not recall their paddling efforts and shoot off hot in the
pursuit of something that may be very difficult to related to
that first paddling. Each to his own however. The only thin I
am interested in is rechecking what I have found that seems
reasonable. And I enjoy talking with you for that reason, no
matter how far we seem to have different conclusions, the
re-centering is always interesting.

You are right the ramifications of karma and reincarnation are so
very extensive, that in my case, I seem to have to go back to the
beginnings to make sure I have not lost the thread.

Best wishes as always,

Dal.
