There is nothing wrong with magic. Provided one is aware of the motive. Any
visualization technique, or directed and focused psychic forces used solely
for selfish motives would be considered "black magic" and, therefore,
"evil"--in contrast to the same "magic" used for altruistic or healing
purposes.

While there is also nothing wrong with Jnanamudra, provided it, too, is used
for purposes that would not be considered black magic (as some selfish
practitioners of sexual Tantra might have it)--there is certainly something
"evil" about it when used for acquiring and exercising personal power over
others, and possibly even for personal attainment of Nirvana and cessation of
rebirth to escape the adjustment of the bad karma that one has caused by past
irresponsibility toward the maintenance of universal harmony. . . For which,
we may all be responsible. . . Since, before entering our reformative Sangha,
Mystery or Theosophy Schools in this or previous lives, we most certainly had
jointly created this disharmonious, semi-destroyed world--as a result of our
own past ignorance and greed--within which many "innocents" will continue to
suffer long after we are dead. This is the primary motive of the Bodhisattva
who forsakes nirvana and practices only the "white", unselfish jnanamudras
from one lifetime to the next. and works his "magic" to make the after death
state as short as possible. High Lamas being a case in point. Therefore,
while they don't personally practice the sexual Tantras, they do teach it to
their own Sanghas, strictly for purposes of Tulku.

Lucky are the female Bodhisattva's who don't have to practice this kind of
nonsense to insure their own quick reincarnations. HPB who certainly and
unequivocally knew right from wrong views, also knew what that's all about.
And, I'm certain she's here now (as a male, probably), laughing up his/her,
anima-animus sleeve at all the "form" freaks who play with the "seals" and end
up taking Viagra. :-).

Best wishes,

LHM
