You are right. I quoted Tsongkhapa a few days ago talking about
the karmamudra, although his biographers say that he never
practiced it. I don't believe HH the Dali Lama has ever practiced
it either.

I have already provided you with some quotes to the effect that
the Tilopa-Naropa-Marpa-Milarepa-Gampopa lineage does NOT
practice it.
