Peter:

This quote is very timely.

Having lived both in the east and the west, one generally finds too much
emphasis in the west on one's personality. "Theosophists" and theosophical
leaders are no exception.

When I recently visited a website of one of the leading theosophical
organizations, what I saw was the the pictures of the officers -- not a
single one of HPB or any of the other leaders. Also all one has to open any
theosophical magazines and see for themselves how the personality is
emphasized.

You made my day!
