Dear Louis:

What you say may be partially true. There have been horrors committed
during the partition of British India into present India and Pakistan. Many
are the stories of people belonging to hindu and moslem faith, many highly
educated turning into violence against neighbors with whom they have lived
for scores of years. There seems to come a point when people are possessed
by the blind passions flamed by the politicians and clerics.
