RE: Theos-World Modern Panarion

May 7th

Dear Daniel:

A MODERN PANARION, was published in 1895 by TPH for H.P.B.
Memorial Fund
Theosophy Company, Los Angeles, issued a photographic reprint of
that book in 1981.
It draws together (in "edited" form) a number of early HPB
articles.

If its existence perplexes you then please write to T. Co. and
ask them to solve it. But in the light of our earlier exchange,
I suppose that you did that.

Many of these articles are reproduced in their verbatim form from
original sources in Vols. 1, 2 , 3 and 4 of Blavatsky COLLECTED
WORKS issued by TPH. Our earlier correspondence covers the main
points we have both observed concerning this book.

I mention the book, as I think I stated before, because I
consider it is useful for student to know about its availability

Best wishes,

Dallas

Dallas, you wrote to an inquirer:

"HPB's early published articles have been drawn together in the
book
titled A MODERN PANARION."

Dallas, I'm greatly puzzled that you still recommend to students
A MODERN
PANARION. As I pointed out several times months ago on
Theos-Talk, this
volume of HPB's early articles was edited by G.R.S. Mead.

Mead abridged and edited H.P.B.'s articles. He deleted material
and even
changed words and phrases. There are hundreds of changes,
deletions, etc.

Why do you still advise inquirers to buy and study this volume?

I'm totally perplexed.

Daniel
