Sorry, but I have no recollection, and can find no record of where and in 
what context I may have said that Leadbeater edited or revised the SD.  Also, 
I have no written references to verify that this may or may not have been so. 
 However, If I did mention it, it was probably based on a vague recollection 
I had of a discussion with some teachers at ULT many years ago, when we were 
comparing later editions of the SD with the original facsimile edition, and 
someone (I can't recall who) mentioned that Leadbeater had collaborated with 
Besant in revising some of the passages.  Since, I was then reading 
Leadbeater and was more or less familiar with his sometimes contradictory 
views, as well as his influence on Besant, I would have had no reason to 
doubt this.  Since, I have no way to verify it, however, I will withdraw 
whatever statement of fact I appeared to make on the subject, and relegate it 
to simply an opinion.  If someone can demonstrate why this could not be so, I 
will gladly apologize for my presumption.
