Gene, you never cease to amaze me.
Let me explain: years ago I was sitting with the Secret Doctrine in my lab,
having just been reading about Heiric of Auxerre's praise of the hexad in
his "Life of Sanct Germanus" (quoted in John MacQueens "Numerology"). I was
trying to analyze the chaldean-sumerian-babylonian numeric key to their
cosmogony, based on a combination of the hexad and decad in a base-60
system. The system represents the solar system in relation to the microcosm,
I will explain below. I was wondering if other systems were used in esoteric
philosophy.
Suddenly I looked down upon the lines "Add to this the fact that Jehovah is
the third Sephiroth, Binah, a feminine word, and you have the key to the
mystery"
I can still remember the feeling of a great light-flash within my mind.
But back to the Chaldean system, it is breath-takingly beautiful. You will
know of the geometrical and zodiacal properties, the division of time, etc.

The basic value was 60, represented by Anu or An (meaning atom in sanskrit).
In the earliest sumerian (pre-cuneiform) notation, 10 was represented by a
point ,1 by a half-point, etc.
The seven major gods are fractions of their father Anu (1/6, 1/5, 1/4, 1/3,
1/2, 2/3, and 5/6 or Marduk, Nergal, Ishtar, Shamash, Sin, Ea-Enki.
Bel-Enlil) Each of the seven gods represent a musical note, if Anu is taken
as the basic string length.

But enough of this, much more could be said (note that the unity precedes
its parts) . But I have exhausted myself beyond those little flashes of
understanding. Gene, I will not have time to answer your other e-mail
tonight, so here follows my adress:
