Today I received the ballot for the International President of TS(Adyar).
Along with the ballot was a slip of paper with the bio of the only
candidate, Mrs. Radha Burnier. It states...
Born 1923 at Adyar, daughter of N. Sri Ram, fifth President. Joined The
Theosophical Society in 1935. Was exponent of Indian classical dance. MA
Sanskrit from Benares Hindu University. Doctorate from Nagarjuna University
............ Director, Adyar Library and Research Center 1954-1980
.......... General Secretary of Indian Section 1960 to 1978. Elected
President, The Theosophical Society, 1980. Re-elected 1987 and 1994.
Editor, The Theosophist. Author of Human Regeneration etc..... Lectured
widely for The Theosophical Society. Chairman, Olcott Education Society.
President, Besant Education Fellowship.
