To be serious for just a second, I find this higher/lower business to be just 
a bit Victorian. To my way of thinking, which is what makes me a heretic in 
a few circles I can think of, there is no such thing. There are merely 
differences in certain qualities which makes them more or less desirable 
depending on the needs or desires of the moment.
