RE: The end of "bickering" over the irreversible Past.

Dear Friends"

Any "bickering" is of course regretted, if it is actually to be
seen in that light.

The study of THEOSOPHY is always in the hands of individuals. I
prefer to deal with that, as it is constructive.

Institutions provide assembly points where discussions take
place.

Ideally the history of the past is dropped at the doorway.

In the meeting place THEOSOPHY is discussed for its better
understanding by individuals.

Every event is a test. As "history" is today, it is largely a
mater of opinion, and not of FACT.

No one ever "looses" a determined student.

They affiliate themselves for whatever time they choose with
whatever body (or none) that they think will suit them. In any
case the U.L.T. is open to all, no questions asked. No rules,
regulations, (other than an adherence to the ideals of the
DECLARATION) and no fees, or dues.

Personally all the "history" (and the bickering) proves nothing,
in my esteem. It is the irreversible past. And the Karma
thereof will be that of he individuals involved. We need not
borrow or revive it and we can add little to it other than say"
get the original documents and read and decide for yourself.
And, as I have said earlier, let's join together and study
THEOSOPHY.

Best wishes,

Dallas

I have noticed many times in the past, that often, the kinds of
petty
bickering that we have seen over the last few weeks, mostly
regarding
judgments and opinions about issues long in the past,
surprisingly, amongst
the most senior Theosophists,
will have this kind of effect on earnest seekers. I cannot help
but wonder if
one of the most honorable theosophical notions, the care and
nurture of those
who are newly awakened, is not being violated here. If we
continue to belabor
the PERCEPTUAL DIFFERENCES of organizational theosophy, when do
we find time
to serve one another with the evolving, LIVING theosophy, of
today.

Can we really afford to loose a single, true seeker whose
awakening spirit
has been drawn to the magnetic center of esoteric studies?

Indeed, in moments like these, WHAT STUDIES?

Perhaps another list needs to be started that clearly states, it
deals only
with the BATTLEGROUND ISSUES OF HISTORICAL THEOSOPHY! Could be
very popular
indeed.
