The number of subscribers to the theosophical maillists are is minuscule as well as the traffic. For one reason or the other, some chose to subscribe to the one or the other and I am sure there are many who do not subscribe to both. From time to time, there comes a topic which the writer or responder of the msg feels that widest publicity be given and this may be a sufficient motivation to cross post.

It is not difficult to subscribe to any of a number of discussion lists,

sending copies of postings, to lists other than the one it was originally sent

selection of reading matter.

The exception would be for simple announcements.
