Napoleon and Hitler

Aug 14, 2001 01:49 AM
by Frank Reitemeyer

In the recent Theosophy World issue of August, 2001, one finds under the heading "Is there a spiritual science? Part II" the following statement by Boris de Zirkoff:

"We think of Adolph Hitler as a monster. Future historians will
think otherwise. If we lived in Napoleon's time, we might
consider him terrible. Hitler and Napoleon tried to do
impossible things. Lesser individuals surrounded them. They did
not entirely intend the evil that followed. We have little
versions of these monsters in every town, sometimes even in our
own family."

The comparison between Napoleon and Hitler is interesting, as there are many parallels between both men who can from an astrological standpoint be regarded as "men of destiny":

Puzzling periodicality, remarkable parallels

Napoleon I born 1760
Hitler born 1889 difference 129 years

French Revolution 1789
German Revolution 1918 difference 129 years

Napoleon's Empire founded 1804
The Third Reich founded 1933 difference 129 years

Napoleon's marching-in Vienna 1809
Hitler's marching-in Vienna 1938 difference 129 years

Napoleon's campaign to Russia 1812
Hitler's campaign to Russia 1941 difference 129 years

Napoleon's ending as ruler 1815
Hitler's ending as ruler 1945 difference 130 years

Both were 29 years old when the revolution broke out.
Both were 44 years old when entering upon office.
Both were 52 years old on their marching-in to Russia.
Both began their Russian marching-in 8 years after entering upon office
which was in both cases June, 22th.
