As a point of interest....The Talmud is the Book of the Oral Law, the Rabbis'
commentary of the Torah, and each tractate or book begins
with page two and not with page one. Eighteenth century
Rabbi Levi Yitzhak of Berdichev explained this phenomenon
by saying it is to remind us that no matter how much we
study and learn, we have not yet come to the first page.
