RE: [bn-study] RE: Dallas recommends 3 sources on Blavatsky & history of Theosophical Movement

Dear Larry

Your surmise is correct.

I have a private list and many may be duplicated.

I sent the greetings to the general list to all those who may
read what I write on THEOSOPHY and who I do not know personally.

That is one source of the duplication. I do not know how to
prevent this.

I try to avoid redundancy and yet secure coverage -- there are a
number of lists interested in Theosophy with overlapping
subscribers. I find I receive redundant messages also.

Best wishes, and compliments of the season.

Dallas

I know it is frustrating to get double posts. I try to see that
this
doesn't happen, but sometimes they still slip through.

One way you may get a message twice is the example of Dallas'
Holiday
Message just posted today. He sent it to the list and also sent
directly
to to many regulars on the list. If I reject the message from the
list,
it will not get to many hundreds not on the "direct mail" list of
Dallas.
He does this now and then. He'll have to answer why.

DTB	I HAVE EXPLAINED ABOVE. SORRY TO ANNOY ANY ONE

If I double post by accident, it's usually because of the sheer
volume of
the posts Dallas sends in. Many of these contain similar material
yet are
addressed to particular questions or in response to particular
comments.
I sometimes get confused by all this. Sorry. I would rather be
accused of
redindancy than fail to post something that may be of help to
someone.
Dallas puts a great deal of effort into his writing and I don't
want to
see it do to waste.

Larry

DTB	THANKS Larry. I expect that friends if they find something
inaccurate in what I say or write will let me know. There is
always room for any one to grow, and that will help me and all of
us. It is good to get reciprocal responses -- as it always
helps.

Best wishes of the season to all.

Dallas
