Just a question or two for Brigitte. What makes you think H.P.B. was
referring to sex in her statement that you mention in your post (below
[listed as AAA)? Are "things" so cut and dried that "YOU KNOW" positively
and absolutely that that statement refers to sex?
One had better be very careful when approaching a being such as H.P.B. and to
make those studies tentative on the basis that one's further enlightenment
could , in fact , change and having changed one's thought (true to
theosophical principles) one's whole approach would therefore change.
Take for example another statement accorded to Jesus in the Gospel of St.
Thomas;

(excerpt) When the Bridegroom departs
>From the Bridal Chamber,
Then you can fast and pray.

Now, did Jesus mean that after sex one should then fast and pray?

A.A.A. But one should know that Blavatsky did not agree with the views of
Randolph about sex. In her letters to General Donduroukoff-Korsakof
she wrote about "marriage of the red Virgin with the Hierophant... of
the combination of the feminine and masculine principles in certain
alchemical and magical operations."

Best wishes for a good New Year , by the way.
