Dear Brigitte:

I believe you may have misunderstood my answer to you. I am not
raising a further controversy for debate. My whole stance is
based on the Brotherhood of all Life. This includes the whole of
humanity.

I have stated as a principle (and I repeat the wise words of
others) that speaking ill of the "dead" and defenseless, does not
undo the past. Further more, in the general esteem of the world,
unprovable and unsupported attacks on the "dead" is cowardly no
matter what pretexts are evoked. Those who are "dead" cannot
defend themselves. Those who attack or repeat slanders are in an
unenviable position, ethically.

THEOSOPHY as a philosophy, as a report on the History of events,
and as a practical way of altruism in daily life, has nothing to
do with derogatory opinions concerning individuals and their real
or fancied lives.

No one can adequately discuss Theosophy without a thorough
knowledge of its tenets, propositions, and doctrines. In many
cases this appears to be lacking. I can see a great deal of
value in discussing the tenets, propositions and doctrines of
Theosophy. There may be novelty and new territory to cover in
that.

THEOSOPHY is age-old. It began as a record of all causes and
events beginning with primary manifestation and evolution. As a
record, it will survive us all.

It is either true and useful or it is not. Neither you nor I,
nor any one else, can add an ounce of credibility to the
imperishable facts imprinted on the ageless pages of TIME and the
AKASA.

Best wishes,

Dallas

Subject: Atma , Maya, and early Theosophy.

Dallas: "For this, I rely, almost exclusively,
on the early literature of Theosophical living Movement as
provided by H P B"

And next Dallas: "let's get off the "history" controversies"
Dallas I don't know if you realise that there is a discrepancy
here.
First you claim to rely on "the early litterature of Theosophical
living Movement as provided by H P B " but this is only
selectivly
true as has been shown in recent weeks.
