Dear Jerry:

As I read the contribution, and list below it strikes me that the
use of the word "bandha" should raise a cautionary note. As far
as I know, it implies a bond or a "tie" to that particular
attribute, power or "center'. Only the lower nature of man --
the psychic and the physical -- are ever influenced or affected
by outside attributes or forces. In the personal man they
reflect and magnify the desire principle, and selfishness.

Everyone of them is in the manifested plane -- hence relates to
the lower, the physical and the psychic. Theosophy recognizes
them but deals with the Manasic, Buddhic and Atmic principles and
man's development and progress in their use.

The Spiritual powers and "chakras," if any, are left undescribed.

But then again, I may be wrong.
