Mar 21, 2002 09:13 PM
by Daniel Caldwell

As one studies "The Secret Doctrine" and the other
writings of H.P. Blavatsky, one should keep in mind
how the true esoteric knowledge given in these various
writings was gained.

The following two articles are compiled from the
writings of H.P. Blavatsky and the Mahatmas M. and
K.H.:

"The Origin of Modern Theosophy:
>From Long-Sealed Ancient Fountains"

"Great Adepts and Trained Seers:
Knowledge of Spiritual Facts by
Personal Experience and from Actual Observation"

"...Contrast alone can enable us to appreciate things
at their right value; and unless a judge compares
notes and hears both sides he can hardly come to a
correct decision."
H.P. Blavatsky. The Theosophist, July, 1881, p. 218.
