HI -- the learning organization...

Hi all of you,

First:
Thank you for making me a member of this list again.
I have been gone for about 3-4 weeks.

I am back to the list after moving to another - room. I had to change my email-adress, but I am still living physically somewhere in the center of Aarhus in Denmark, -- you know Scandinavia...

The issue I like to put forward is this:
I remembered, that there was a debate a month ago about Theosophy and its manner of being organized - and the decline in membership etc.

Look for instance at Eldon's very interesting email:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theos-talk/message/5668

the following is a view:

My question is:
1. What about the newst ideas on organization theory, is it not an issue of importance to Theosophy ??

The big companies of today are concerned with the organizational structure called "The Learning Organization"
Authors like the following have throw changes into many a comporation and company of today:

The Organizational Learning Cycle, Nancy Dixon McGraw-Hill (1994). More Details.
The Learning Organisation, Bob Garratt, Harper-Collins, (1994). More Details.
The Learning Company: a Strategy for Sustainable Development, Mike Pedler, John Burgoyne & Tom Boydell, McGraw-Hill (1991). More Details.
The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook: Strategies and Tools for Building a Learning Organization, Peter M.Senge, C. Roberts, R.B. Ross, B.J. Smith, A. Kleiner, Nicholas Brierley (1994). More Details.
Techniques for Structured Problem Solving, Arthur B. van Gundy, Van Nostrand Rheinhold (1989). More Details.
(Look for instance at http://www.skyrme.com/insights/3lrnorg.htm )

If Theosophy is wise they according to (little) me would do well in thinking the above ideas through so to implement for instance the idea of 'being in front of development' instead as doing like now being in front of the past and living in the past.

There are people of wisdom going around on the planet today. Master ? Maybe - and maybe not. Who knows ?
But let us at least check their views and tachings out more carefully before we judge them as being silly, ignorant or narrowminded.

My view is, that: Prejudice about who other beings are - has been and is - perhaps one of the greatest obstacles to Theosophy of today - worldwide !

(I hope to catch up with the last month emailing).

Are you all doing fine ??
