Dear Mic:

Do you have a copy of The SECRET DOCTRINE , or can you get
it on line to read ? I believe that theosociety.org in
Pasadena has in on line for use and with pages inserted.

As to Australia:

They also have a very good INDEX to The SECRET DOCTRINE It
is worth going there and reading about all that is said on
the origins and development of Australia which is a most
ancient land

[ see S D II 8fn, 333, 781,
[ Remnant of LEMURIA: S D II 7-8, 195-7, 314, 328, 779,
789
[ Brain measurements: S D II 193fn, 661, 682fn
[ Not descended from anthropoids S D II 193
[ Paleolithic hatches S D II 716

Best wishes,

Dal

Dallas,

Interesting you should say that. The tradtional view
of the peopling of Australia is the Aborigines arrived
40,000 to 60,000 years ago then Captain Phillip and
his convicts arrived 215 years ago: that is,
colonisation in two waves. But increasingly
archaelogical evidence suggests that the picture is a
lot more complex than that. One example: the arrival
of the dingo 5000 years ago suggests trading was
taking place between Australians and Asians. Flannery
(1994) suggests that not only were animals and goods
exchange but so were people, especially for marriage.
It will be interesting to see whether archaeologists
can find other evidence of multiple colonisations.

Regards,
Mic
