These people were not trying to disrupt; they were trying to learn. And
they were not stating anything that was anti-theosophical, at least from
their account (of course, nobody's memory is perfect). In any case, I
was responding to Dallas' statement: "There are no "caps" ever placed on
discussion and
consideration of any subjects in Theosophy or at the U L Ts." I wasn't
saying whether or not they had a right to do so; as a matter of fact, I
have defended the ULT to those who come to the New York Lodge
complaining, pointing out that the ULT Lodge meetings are more for
teaching than coming up with new ideas, and that they were complementary
to TS/Adyar rather than competitive with them.

Actually, that is more information in that regard that Dallas has ever
given to me. Thank you; it makes sense, and fits in with what I have
been told the philosophy of the ULT is. I will now drop that subject,
forever, as I finally have received a reasonable answer.
