To paraphrase Marx, "The point however, is not to interpret the world, but
to change it". Sniping from the sidelines is a favourite pastime of people
who have no power in themselves. If one is a true Theosophist, then one
should change the world, and that can only be done by changing ones self
first. To paraphrase someone else, "Before you are in a position to take
the speck of sawdust out of someone else's eye, you'll have to get the tree
trunk out of your own". This is the true aim of Theosophy. The
transformation of the individual, after which, as a natural corollary, that
individual is able to change the world. Forget politics and political
discussion. It changes nothing ! Work at changing the self, and then you
will transform the world.

Orra Best,
Ian
