". . . Mrs. Besant arrogated to herself the right and 'duty ?' of editing HPB "

Dallas, you write:

"It is also significant that after HPB's death Mrs. Besant
arrogated to herself the right and 'duty ?' of editing HPB
as she thought HPB would like it. This manifests as early
as 1893 -- two years after HPB's death."

But Dallas, it was not only Mrs. Besant who edited HPB. Even William
Q. Judge decided to "edit" HPB. See his editing of THE VOICE OF THE
SILENCE. He made hundreds of changes as can be found in the current
edition of THE VOICE published by the Theosophy Company.

Could we therefore also justifiably write (using your same
phraseology) that Mr. Judge "arrogated to himself the right
and 'duty' of editing HPB as he thought HPB would like it"?

And it is this TC "edited" version of THE VOICE that you apparently
prefer to use and recommend instead of HPB's own orginal.
