Dr. Vernon Harrison on the Hodgson Report and the Mahatma Letters

Nov 03, 2002 06:33 AM
by Daniel H. Caldwell

Richard Hodgson spends dozens of pages in his 1885 SPR Report trying
to prove that H.P. Blavatsky wrote the majority of the Mahatma
Letters. Over the years various biographers and hostile critics have
used Hodgson's opinion to besmear the character of Madame Blavatsky.

I give a summary of Dr. Vernon Harrison's opinion of Hodgson's
contentions as well as Dr. Harrison's summary of his own findings
about the Mahatma Letters.

Dr. Harrison is an examiner of questioned documents. His background
