Yes, indeedy do. One could notice in the MahaBharata(in which "The Bhagavad 
Gita is a small portion) the "fate" , let us say of Drona.It took certain 
ages for "his" karma from certain acts to even manifest itself which, of 
course, Krishna(or Christos) allready knew and even informed Arjuna of the 
outcomes early on of all the participants in the "human" drama of Life , in 
those ancient times ,as told in that great epic of India.It is truly a study 
in cause and effect on a VERY large time scale.
I might quote something from an unremembered source as "what is past is 
prologue".
So, how will we "read" all that today with such blindfolds as Kama can muster?
