Why would it?

What it DOES mean is that the ULT has many excellent programs on the
works of Blavatsky, while the Adyar TS is more varied.

Many members believe they know something about esoteric successors of
HPB. I personally think that just because someone is a successor to HPB,
that doesn't mean that they're right, or even as accurate as HPB (or
even accurate at all).

Because the exoteric side is extremely useful.

Frankly, I'm not sure myself whether or not she appointed any; I'm
certain that it's not terribly important either.

How is this relevant?

How about: The New York ULT has some good classes and lectures on
Blavatsky which the New York Lodge of the TS/Adyar does not have. On the
other hand, the New York Lodge of the Theosophical Society (Adyar) has
some good classes and lectures that the New York ULT does not have.
Therefore, both organizations are, in my opinion, doing theosophical
work; just different kinds.
