To Etzion on the physical mechanisms, not spiritual causes of sex and gender

FOR SOME REASON MY PREVIOUS POST DID NOT REGISTER PROPERLY

Dear Etzion,

The purpose in my report was not to write an esoteric paper on
any 'spiritual ' or occult concept of sex or gender. It was to
illuminate the physical science of the common mechanisms of sex
differentiation and sex dimorphic behavior IN ALL VERTEBRATES.

It was written for medical ethics, pastoral and legal reasons
regarding the basic human rights of intersexed persons and their
families.

When the immediate life-and-death needs of precious humans are
involved, speculation about the 'karmic' origins of their
genderedness is not helpful. Thus I do not bother myself to
publically write on such subjects, as it is of no practical help to
anyone facing life with such a huge problem. I teach that we are not
our bodies, but we live in them and need to understand them and take
proper care of them. For the normal bodied and gender-identified
person, questions of correct birth sex assignment, hormomal therapy,
legal, social, religious issues or sex 'normalizing' or sex change
surgery never arise. For the intersexed, these kind of problems may
be inescapable.

It is to assist such people, and their loved ones, with such
devastating problems that I write on the science and medicine of sex
differentiation.

In my personal counseling of such people (and normal people), I
discuss with them the subtler issues of sexual incarnation, gender
identity and spiritual (BRIDAL MYSTICISM) genderedness. You are
correct that we must all take responsibility for living our present
lives with integrity, and determining where we are going to next.
