What I believe is that you are attempting to invoke the logical fallacy
of "Changing the Subject", in particular, an argument ad hominem
(circumstantial), and going a step further by trying to disguise it as
an argument ad hominem (tu quoque).

In other words, where I come from and what I believe about America has
nothing to do with the truth or falsehood of my statements; it is a
distraction designed to avoid discussion of the real issues.
