The message bears a time of May 31, 1996 at 7:00 AM GMT. As far as
birthplace, you might use West Hills, CA, since that was where I was living
when I started the list.

An earlier date might be used where the list was first announced on theos-l,
but I don't have that message handy at the moment.

The move to Yahoo Groups (formerly called Egroups) was to automate most of
the list maintenance functions and give greater visibility to the list and
associated monthly, THEOSOPHY WORLD.
