RE: Theos-World Fw: Pseudo-theosophy of AAB & CWL

FR: As far as I have heard PTS and OH will be the same individual in
personal union. The OH is traditionally the messenger or the link to the
Great Ones. It makes much sense that the best individual available who
is able to the duties as OH should also serve as PTS for the highest
interests of the welfare of the TS and Theosophy in general.
That's the reason why I don't run for such a post. I think this job
would be
to big for me and in my maya I would destroy more as I would build up.
The same questions of course also for worldly leaders. Just think of
this
oil baron with his drunken daughthers who is in attempt to try out his
brand
new bang bang woom kid's toys in the desert.

JHE: And the reasons why you don't run for President and OH sound to me
like reasons no one else should either. HPB only held the ES post--not
the Presidency. Everyone, from Besant onwards has held both posts, with
the exception of John Coates, who declined the appointment of OH for
much the same reasons you stated. This is an old debate.

It would be interesting to watch who succeeds Radha as OH.
