Thanks for the SOC links, they are most interesting. They remind me of 
the
basic outline metaphor in the Mahayana sutra's such as the Shuramgama.

Maybe the SOC theory is why the ancient cult of the Baptists led by 
"Yaya(John)"
always ended their works with the emphatic declaritive "And Life is 
Victorious" ?

Reading the SOC page one wonders if the theorum could be a supporting 
argument
for extra-solar life?

At the micro end one can image seed,root,trunk, branch, stem, 
bud,flower, and fruit 
in the fractal tree leaves of the familial decent lines of the physical 
of each of us.

I just know Wry will see a correlation (grp) in the phrase "grasp" they 
use on the
page.
