Dear Gopi:

I am ready to be further instructed.

As a child I grew up with many of the ancient mythological stories and
I do not discount them in any way. Our Western records have been
mangled and fragmented and in addition we have largely lost the
traditions of human immortality and the concept of universal and just
Karma.

As I understand it Theosophy has one of its missions to restore such
knowledge and demonstrate its reasonableness. Perhaps you can add to
this ?

I advanced the statement from the BHAGAVAD GITA in support of the
information you offered concerning Kashi-Maharaja.

There are many such stories and histories that the West knows little
or nothing about. I was hoping you might give us some further
insights.

Best wishes,

Dallas

Hi,

I was only giving historical fact that there is at least one 'Kingly'
lineage that is apparently over 2,700 years. It may even go back 6,000
years old (before Krishna appeared on the scene) if you go to
Mythology.
For us that read Bhagavat Gita it is even more interesting. Krishna is
known to have died around 3,102 BC, I believe. The stories put this
lineage before that. There are many stories in Indian languages that
talk
about Kashi Raja in their mythological story books.

This has very little to do with your ideas about Rajas (kings)

Gopi
