Katinka,
No, I was not making "Deity" a necessity. But in terms of the
Radio Host and
the audience and their spectrum of reality, as most are Western oriented,
the
postulation of Deity viz Force or Nature was found topically by both the
Host and
the Listeners that called in to his show. In my opinion the "Seven Fold
Economy of
Being" of Theosophy ably indicates why the spectrum of paradigms presence
and
present to Mankind the many advocacy's that include Religion, Deity, Gods,
Demigods
and all the rest throughout the Millennia. I like Patanjali, and Adwaita
and find easy
agreement with the assertions and postulates as to the Lower-Higher Mind
and the
Realms of same, and also the Postulation as to Non-Mind and beyond. This
creates
a terrible conflict in the Mind of Humankind since the only means they
conceptually
can agree to biologically, physically and intellectually is that nothing
can exist without mind. But the Metaphysics have said and asserted that beyond
mind there is
found the Formless Realm, and beyond that Pure Being, somewhere I remember
the
phrase "The Mind is left at the Doorsill." To me at least a concept that
Beingness in
Original Nature has no need of any additional means such as "mind," an
originated
instrumentality which serves as a "Via" for the descent. I will probably be
much
castigated for my remarks but be that as it may at least I state my view.
To me
whether there be Force, Nature, Deity or whatever, what is having
perception and
consummate individual agreement about such is the "conditioned mind(s) of
Mankind."
In my view when Radha passed it was both predictable and utterly
unavoidable that
the various affinitized groupings of the members gravitated and found each
other, and
finding common grounds and affinities that were reflexive to the dominant
elements
of their Seven Fold Economy they then redirected the flow of their common
energy
and common minded preferences and agreements into new Lodges that would
example the same. So a classic historical pattern of reorganization
appeared, at least
in my view.
